Whether heading up national B2B advertising and brand for Sprint Business, developing TV spots for the latest iPhone launches, leading localized campaigns in major cities across the US, or developing creative for Proctor & Gamble and ExxonMobil in Europe and the US, Bernd has been at the forefront of advertising, creative development and production.
His career in advertising started in Tokyo. While still living in a hotel after having recently moved to Japan, he stumbled upon a photo shoot in the hotel garden. The photographer spotted Bernd and asked him to be in the shoot. And with that, Bernd’s first advertising job landed him in a brochure for the latest Sony TV – at the ripe age of 7.
After studying economics in Germany and receiving a degree in marketing and advertising and an MBA in the US, Bernd started his career in advertising at Leo Burnett in Frankfurt, Germany.
